This was my story...
'Stressed' was like my signature way of being. I didn't really know any other way!
I used to feel at the mercy of my emotions or 'moods' as I used to call them.
If something 'happened' in my life that 'caused a mood' (i.e. I got triggered - I just didn't used to have that vocab) I would get stuck in that mood for HOURS. I would withdraw, sulk, & shutdown, unable to work through what was going on for me. I had NO IDEA how to shift it, & even less of an idea around how to express or communicate it.
I used to reaaallyyyy struggle with binge eating & the binge-guilt-shame-binge cycle
My mind would spiral & I had no idea how to stop it if I got activated or triggered
When I was younger I partied a lot to mask the unhappiness, unworthiness & purposelessness I felt deep inside
I used to snap, react & lash out if I got hurt
I held onto resentment in relationships because I couldn't communicate what was going on for me
I used to experience MAJOR relationship anxiety, insecurity & jealousy & had no idea how to hold myself through it
until i took myself on a deep healing journey that led me to
